LCA Staff
The LCA staff brings talent and skill to the classroom, along with a love for children, God and Christian education. All LCA staff members have been fingerprinted and have an approved background check.  All staff members are also CPR & first aid certified. Teachers are required to attend 24 hours of continuing education hours per year to comply with the State of Texas Childcare Licensing guidelines. Our staff is always available for conferences, and classrooms are a warm place for each child to learn.

In conjunction with classroom curriculum, students attend enrichment classes each week.

Physical education classes are lead by our P.E. and gymnastics teacher.  Students are taught to work in cooperation, follow safety rules, develop gross motor skills, basic health awareness and body/muscle development.  Students benefit from tumbling activities, relay races, strength exercises, and coordination challenges.

Music class is provided to students to further enhance a child's natural love of sounds, rhythm, and musical instruments.  LCA students also learn to worship through praise songs and sing them during our weekly chapel service.

Technology classes are offered to our students who are age 3 and older.  Our technology curriculum reinforces our class curriculum with phonics, letter recognition, science, and basic keyboarding skills.

Spanish is incorporated into our curriculum to give them an initial exposure to the language.  Colors, shapes, and counting in Spanish are incorporated into our classroom curriculum.

CHAPEL is attended once each week. During this service, the children are involved in worship, singing, prayer, and scripture lessons. All students say the Pledge of Allegiance, Pledge to the Christian Flag, and the Pledge to the Bible.  The children are given special teaching by the chapel teacher. Music and puppets are incorporated into the lessons, and each class shares cooperatively its weekly Bible memory verse.
